NCDP 2012 Winter Training Descriptions
Participants can choose between three training tracks: Field, Communications & Data Management with Votebuilder. Participants must choose one track. Please find the training track descriptions below. The Democratic National Convention Committee will also host an information session for all participants on the 100 County Plan for North Carolina and the Convention Community Organizer program.
Track 1: Field Organizer
Democrats must have a professional and cohesive ground game to deliver for Democrats up and down the ticket in 2012. This track will walk participants through the process of grassroots organizing from planning events and volunteer engagement to writing and executing an effective field plan in your county.
Track 2: Communications
The Communication Track will include training on earned media, basic web design along with email collection and calendar integration. This custom content management solution will all be a part of the new system that is accessible to all county parties.
Track 3: Votebuilder
Participants must preregister at least 72 hours in advance for this session. This session is designed for those who already have a basic understanding of VoteBuilder. In this session, we will discuss Precinct Reporting and the My Campaign Tab in VoteBuilder.
